Loreatha Boehner

Originally from Mahone Bay, Loreatha joined Wagners in 2012. She completed her articles in the area of insurance defence and spent a year doing general litigation before she made the decision to focus exclusively on assisting victims of negligence.

For the past decade Loreatha has dedicated her career to helping those suffering serious injuries. Her practice areas include car accident injuries, municipal/premise liability, slip and fall injuries, dog bites, sexual assaults, and insurance denials. She regularly represents clients throughout the litigation process including through discovery examinations, negotiations, mediations, and trials.

While obtaining her law degree from Dalhousie University, Loreatha volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada as well as a local youth centre for at risk teens.  She also spent a semester at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic.  These days she spends her time mentoring junior lawyers at the firm.

Loreatha understands the impact an injury can have on clients and their families and loved ones. Ensuring that clients feel comfortable, their concerns are heard, and they have a thorough understanding of the process is essential to her practice. Along with her paralegals, Melissa and Mackenzie, her team is compassionate and responsive to client needs.

In her spare time, Loreatha enjoys home renovation projects, crafting, and spending time outside with her three pugs, Avon Barksdale, Stringer Bella, and River Francis.
